I’m a former outfielder who played with GPA for several years and found the experience to be nothing short of greatness. The team environment and support that I recieved from the coaches was insurmountable, yet specifically, the support and instruction I recieved from Coach Cam. Coach Cam is not only one of the best coaches that I know, but one of the best people I know. He helped develop my game a lot through route drills, throwing drills, fungos, but most importantly, the confidence that he instilled in me to believe in myself. He would constantly give me tips on how to overcome failure and was especially helpful during my 2023-24 season when I fractured my back. Like I said, he doesn’t just coach, he builds personal relationships with his players. He took me out to dinner several times as well, and we were able to have great talks were baseball wasn’t even mentioned at all. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about GPA and Coach Cam and would highly recommend Arm Barn or GPA to anyone who wants their kid to not only develop as a baseball player, but a human as well.

I began working with coach Cam at a young age, around 13-14 years old, and he really helped me dial in the fundamentals of pitching. Cam introduced me to a new world of arm care and methods of maintaining arm strength while staying healthy, that set me up nicely for future years of throwing. Working with coach Cam highlighted a lot of small details within my mechanics that allowed me to progress through hard work and dedication. He helped me maintain a positive mindset and always encouraged the team during games. Coach Cam really cares about the people he coaches, and it shows with the amount of time and effort he puts into it.

I have played with GPA for almost all of my high school baseball career, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the program. Throughout my time on the team, Coach Cam and I built a strong relationship. As a hitter, he helped me improve all aspects of my game. After each batting practice, he gave clear, specific feedback and explained how to apply the changes in real games. During my transition from infield to outfield, Coach Cam focused on getting me comfortable and building my confidence. He hit fungos, ran specific drills, and taught efficient routes and reads. I always find something to learn from him, whether on or off the baseball field. Through his guidance, I have matured both as a person and a player. I have the utmost respect for both GPA and Coach Cam, and I highly recommend their programs for anyone who wants to develop as both a baseball player and a student.
